Mrs Hinch fans shared the best way to keep your bedding bright white

Mrs Hinch lovers have found a cheap way to make yellow-stained pillows look brand new again.

No matter how clean you are, your pillows and sheets can easily become yellow-stained due to factors like sweat, or by going to bed with damp or oily hair. Many people struggle to get the stains out and often resort to binning their used bedding.

But with the cost of living crisis having an impact on many homes across the UK, new duvets and pillows can be too expensive to buy. So instead, people are now looking for new and clever ways to keep their bedding looking brand new.

Posting in the Mrs Hinch Cleaning Tips Facebook group, one member asked for the 'best washing method' to keep her new sheets pristine and white. In the Facebook post, they wrote: "New white company bedding. What is the best washing method to keep it white - other than just a whites wash?" she questioned.

Rushing to the comment section, people were keen to share their insightful advice and budget-friendly solutions to the common issue. Taking to the post, people were in agreement over the same product - as one person said: "Dr. Beckmans white sachets."

"Dr Beckermans," another agreed. Dr. Beckmann Glowhite is a popular product amongst households and retails at the cost-effective price of 79p at ASDA.

The product is available to purchase from a variety of stories, including the likes of Tesco, Wilko, and Sainsbury's. While Facebook users were quick to praise the Dr. Beckmann product, others were keen to share their first-hand advice and opinion on efficient methods, reported the Mirror.

One person said: "I always put vanish for whites in my washes." On the other hand, someone suggested: "White vinegar in softener tray, bicarb, always white and smells lovely for longer. Doing this for years. Good luck."
